1/3/17 Awful Weather, Awesome Fishing!

Hal and I got out in the Old Town Discovery Canoe last night. The weather was awful but the fishing was absolutely fantastic. Due to the rain, all of my pictures from on the water turned out like the first one below. Even with the blurry picture, you can still tell that Hal was having a blast fighting those Rainbows! We ended up with 8 fish in the boat in just two short hours along with several fish that came off and multiple hits that never turned into hook ups. What an awesome evening! It was even better getting to share it with good company! Looks like we have a lot of cold weather on the way. Will this be the last trip for a while? Not likely. I will find someplace!
